Plans compared, and choosing a plan at signup

The choice you make at signup

At the end of signup you choose between Free Membership and Pro Membership. Both are real accounts — Free isn't a trial and doesn't expire.

Choosing a plan

Free Membership — $0, no card

For a firm that wants a presence on the network:

  • Unlimited connections — connect directly with any firm
  • Join any existing group of firms
  • Be matched to engagements created by the firms you're connected to
  • Receive invitations to collaborate, and do the work

What it doesn't include: creating engagements, creating groups, and open networking.

So a Free firm can win work all day — it just can't originate an engagement of its own, start its own group, or be matched by firms it has no relationship with.

Pro Membership — from $49 a month

Everything FirmLinks does. On top of Free:

  • Create engagements and invite any firm
  • Create your own groups
  • Open networking, to be matched with firms you've never met — and the referral incentive that goes with it, which you set on the Open Networking page once it's switched on

How Pro is priced

By number of active users, and you never pick a tier.

  • Starter: 1–5 active users, $49 monthly or $490 annual
  • Growth: 6–20 active users, $99 monthly or $990 annual
  • Firm: 21–50 active users, $199 monthly or $1,990 annual
  • Large: 51–150 active users, $299 monthly or $2,990 annual

You start on Starter and move up a tier as you add active users — and back down again when you remove them. It happens on its own; there's nothing to approve.

An active user is one whose status is active or invited. Deactivated users aren't counted and aren't charged for. So tidying your Users page can genuinely change your bill.

Above 150 active users, talk to sales — the talk to sales link on the page opens an email to sales@firmlinks.io.

Choosing at signup

Take Free if you're not sure. No card, and you can upgrade any time from Settings › Subscription — the whole feature set switches on immediately.

Take Pro if you already know you'll be sending work out. Creating engagements is the thing you'd otherwise hit within a day.

If you were invited by another firm

You can answer their invitation and collaborate on their engagements on Free — that's what the screen means by "you are matched to the engagements they create". Choosing Free here doesn't limit what you can do on their engagement in any way.
