Why you can't just type one in
The service catalogue is shared by every firm on FirmLinks, so you can't simply type your own row into it. What you can do is suggest one, and our team reviews it.

Anybody at your firm can make a suggestion — you don't need to be an admin or an editor for this one.
Making one
From Settings › Services choose Suggest a Service. You get the whole taxonomy to browse.

- Select the folder the new thing belongs under. Placement is most of the value: a service filed in the right category gets matched; one floating at the top gets argued about.
- Use Add Folder or Add Service to propose a new child under it. You can nest a suggested service inside a suggested folder.
- Give it a name, and notes if the name alone doesn't make it obvious.
New suggestions are tagged New Suggestion and exist only on your screen until you submit. Remove one with the × while it's still yours. Removing a suggested folder removes the services you put under it.
Submit Suggestions sends the whole batch to our team. Once submitted, a suggestion is tagged with your name and can't be removed here.
Filters, so the tree doesn't swallow it
The Show filter switches between everything, only suggestions (yours and your colleagues', still in review) and only new suggestions (the ones from this session).
Tracking what happened
Suggestion History lists every suggestion from your firm — what it was, who suggested it, the date, and its resolution. A new one sits at In review until our team decides.
What makes a suggestion likely to be accepted
- A service, not a package. "Monthly close plus payroll plus advisory" is three rows.
- Words another firm would use. The catalogue is how firms find each other; a name only your firm uses can't be searched for by anyone else.
- Check it isn't already there under another name — use Find Service first. Most suggestions we decline are duplicates.
